Sacred Hearth Care
Sacred Hearth Care
OUR STORY
It started in a small kitchen in Portland — one ceramic vessel, a bag of soy wax, a mortar and pestle, and a shelf of dried herbs. Our founder had spent years studying herbalism and botanical medicine, watching wellness become something you buy rather than something you practice.
Sacred Hearth Care began where herbalism meets flame. We realized that candles could be more than scented wax — they could be vessels for plant medicine. By infusing wildcrafted herbs directly into our soy wax and layering botanical essential oils, each candle becomes a bridge between ancient plant wisdom and modern ritual.
Today, every candle is still hand-poured in small batches, infused with herbs for 48 hours, slow-cured for 14 days, and made from ingredients we can trace back to their source. We forage with intention, blend with knowledge, and pour with care. We believe luxury isn’t excess — it’s the marriage of herb and flame.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
All ingredients traceable and sustainable. We know every farm, every field, every hand that touched what's in your candle.
Never mass-produced. Each candle is hand-infused with herbs for 48 hours, hand-poured, and slow-cured for 14 days to ensure the deepest botanical scent throw.
Designed for intentional moments, not just ambiance. Every candle comes with a suggested ritual and herbal pairing to deepen your experience.
Recyclable amber glass vessels, soy-ink labels, carbon-neutral shipping. We tend to the earth the way we tend to flame.
Our formulations draw from centuries of botanical medicine. Every herb is chosen for its traditional properties — not just its scent, but its spirit.
THE APOTHECARY
We don’t just add herbs to candles — we listen to what each plant has to teach. White sage for space-clearing. Lavender for the nervous system. Rosemary for memory and protection. Mugwort for the dreamworld. Every ingredient in our herbal collection was chosen for its traditional medicinal and spiritual properties, researched through generations of folk herbalism, and sourced from growers who share our reverence for the green world.
